Due to Hurricane Irene affecting much of the Eastern United States this week, we thought a few hurricane safety tips would be appropriate:
– Follow weather forecasts and advice from local authorities.
– Stock up on supplies like water, non-perishable foods, batteries and a first aid kit.
– Don’t leave your secure area too soon. The storm may have calmed down but you may be in the eye. Wait for local authorities to give the all-clear signal.
